{"id":1686,"date":"2022-09-28T18:50:10","date_gmt":"2022-09-28T16:50:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cod4is.com\/stella-fashion\/"},"modified":"2024-10-16T17:47:04","modified_gmt":"2024-10-16T15:47:04","slug":"stella-fashion","status":"publish","type":"post_cas_client","link":"https:\/\/cod4is.com\/en\/our-achievements\/stella-fashion\/","title":{"rendered":"Stella Fashion Group relies on CoD4IS to improve its brands sales in France"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>To reliably steer 2 of its brands stores sales in France, fashion group Stella Fashion reshaped its POS system and integrated CEGID Y2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CoD4IS managed this integration project, including development and implementation of interfaces with a new accounting software and a change of e-commerce CMS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What Is Stella Fashion ?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Joint-venture of Stella International Holdings Ltd, based in Hong Kong ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>online shop of women&#8217;s high-end clothing and accessories ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>in Europe, Stella Fashion sells Stella Luna, What For and JKJY brand products.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">POS integration project goals: to steer sales and improve inventory management<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>International brands l\u2019international must rely on\u00a0<strong>retail software<\/strong>\u00a0that answers various needs:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>centralize the store network POS and inventory management;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>unify business processes to make training easier, ensure the brand&#8217;s image consistency, improve performance and reporting ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>respect local rules (tax, laws, local customs and languages)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Reshaping POS to improve sales and business processes performance<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The project scope concerns 2 brands, Stella Luna and What For. It aims to improve inventory&#8217;s reliability and consolidate the sales process in the worldwide stores network, improve customer knowledge and analyze performance to answer business needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It also includes the integration of new accountability and e-commerce software and their connection with POS thanks to interfaces. The aim is to improve the reliability of accounting data and back office processes for a better communication with HQ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The project hurdles<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Deadlines are tight: the former<strong> POS system<\/strong>\u00a0is not supported anymore. The project unfolds in a few weeks starting in April 2019 and goes live on 1st September, 2019. 20 stores of 2 brands, What For and Stella Luna, change over the new POS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To be swift and consolidate knowledge among the brands&#8217; teams, a &#8220;train the trainer&#8221; program is designed and implemented. CoD4IS fills the training gaps onsite when brands request it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Project\u00a0methodology <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>3 consultants, working on a time and materials basis, implemented the various services demanded to integrate Y2 in the Stella Fashion group&#8217;s information system:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>auditing the retail information system to identify the 2 brands&#8217; needs in terms of business process and ensure their compliance with local rules and laws;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>designing and developing of the software core model to roll out;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>transfering know-how to Stella Luna and What For\u00a0teams;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>installing the solution at a pilot store in France;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>integrate the solution in the group&#8217;s information system architecture ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>IT store and user support on a 7\/7.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">CoD4IS added value<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As a retail and fashion expert, CoD4IS relied on its tested and proven project methodology. 3 consultants, among which a project manager, all of them CEGID Y2 experts, worked alongside the group&#8217;s team during and after the project and that made a difference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pascaline G\u00e9rard, France retail director<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Our project was complex and had a sense of urgency.
